The history of our action stretches back fifty years. Our father, Joza Ljuz (Luiz), comes from an old family of filigree artists in Gjakova.
Already as a ten-year-old in Prizren, he made filigree jewelry with his relatives, and a few years later he did the same job as part of a craft cooperative in Skopje.
In the 1950s, he left Skopje and opened a filigree shop in Cetinje with his partner. In 1957, he came to Zadar where, in partnership with Nikola Gaši (who is also remembered by the older citizens of Zadar), he opened a shop across the street from the court.
In 1959, they opened another store (in which we are still today) and then separated, taking over each of their trades. After my father's death in 1981, our mother Bergita took over the business, and in 1993 we, Fran and Ilir, continued the family tradition under the name Z.T.O. "Louise"
